Health related education available- April 1 is the deadline for the submission of applications for several health-related programs at Itawamba Community College.
They include associate degree nursing, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy technology and practical nursing (August class) at the Fulton campus and diagnostic medical sonography technology, health information technology, surgical technology, occupational therapist assistant technology and emergency medical technology basic (May class) at the Tupelo campus.

Pruning program in the park- Chickasaw County Master Gardners club will host a pruning program on March 12 at noon at the Extension Office on Lee Horn Drive. Following the hands-on program will be a trip to the new City park in Houston beside City Hall to demonstrate the pruning of roses, shrubs and crepe myrtles. The public is invited to attend. ICC alumni social March 12- All Itawamba Community College alumni and friends are invited to a Chickasaw County Alumni social at 6 p.m., March 12 at Parks and Parks Well Service Inc, Okolona Cutoff Road in Houston.
“We are in the process of organizing an ICC Alumni Chapter in Chickasaw County,” said coordinator Bobby Mooneyham, “and this will be an opportunity for fellowship and to connect with the College. All Chickasaw County alumni and friends are invited.”
Other committee members include Chuck Carson, Hassell Franklin, Robert Goza, Norma Kilgore, David Thomas, Jerome Smith, Alford Bell, Earl Carter, Kathy Davis and James Gordon.
