HOULKA - The Houlka Wildcats and Okolona Chieftains met for a double-header on Friday and both teams took home a win as they split 1-1.

Houlka took the first game 7-4 with Deandre Allen and Okolona grabbed the nightcap 10-3.

The Wildcats dropped to Bruce 13-3 on Saturday with Brandon Moss tagged for the loss. Matt Eaton recorded multiple hits in the effort.

Chiefs update

The Chiefs dropped a double-header to Hatley on Saturday taking a 21-11 hit in the first game with Brenzo Gillard on the mound. Shaquille Wilson and Corrielle Garth both had a double each.

In the second game, Zach Brooks was tagged with the 15-2 loss with Garth recording a double.
