HHS recognition

• Houston High School will hold their annual Veteran’s Day program in the school auditorium on Wed., Nov. 11 at 10:40 a.m. All veterans of military service, any branch, all ranks, and survivors are invited to attend. Special seating will be made available for veteran guests and survivors.

Okolona parade

• The third annual Veteran’s Parade in Okolona will be held Wed., Nov. 11 at 9 a.m. Line-up begins at 8:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served in the Rockwell Auditorium following the parade.

Houlka school program

• Staff at Houlka School are currently organizing a Veteran’s Day program to be held Nov. 11. Details will be published as they are made available.

HLES hold two program

• Houston Lower Elementary School will hold two Veteran’s Day programs on Nov. 11. The first will take place at 1 p.m. and the second will be held at 1:45 p.m. All are invited to attend.
