Vocational and Technial Centers offer high school students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and education about a field of employment. The educational facilities offer students the opportunity to learn more about a specialized field and develop their skills in that field. Whether the students are moving directly into the work force following graduation or developing a well-rounded base for further academic studies, the education, experience and first-hand knowledge gained at Vocational and Technical Centers can only be a positive action taken toward the future.

Chickasaw County houses two Vocational and Technical Centers with one located in Okolona and one in Houston. Both centers are available to students to pursue a skilled field of study with block classes and hands-on education. The courses offered are as varied as the students who pursue them.
