HOUSTON -On Friday, February 20, church services were conducted by Ralph Pullen from Parkway Baptist Church. He is always full of joy and laughter. You can see his little light shine. We played The Price Is Right. We had 24 residents to come on down to play. We had 6 winners. They were Birdie Blanton, Etoyle Nabors, Christine Eaton, Ruble Parker, and Hattie Dendy. Everyone enjoyed the the conversation and Tootsie Roll Pops.
On Saturday, February 21, we had our crochet class. We have a lot of people sick. We hope they feel better soon. In the afternoon, we watched a movie.
On Sunday, February 22, church services were conducted by Bro. Daniel Heeringa from First Baptist Church. Song leader was Bro. Kenny Adams. We really enjoyed it. Thank God for them coming this month. We had 20 present.
On Monday, February 23, we played bingo this afternoon. Helpers were Glenda Scarbrough, Nelda Moore, Ruth Gann, and Nellie Reynolds. Winners were Hattie Dendy, Glenda Nichols, Guinette Vancleave, Pearl Moore, and Myra Hancock.
On Tuesday, February 24, we had church services today from First Baptist Church. Pastor is Bro. Daniel Heeringa. Song leader is Bro. Kenny Adams. Speaker today was Dr. Victor Horn. We really enjoyed the service. We thank them for coming this month. We had 18 present.
On Wednesday, February 25, church services were conducted by Bro. Jerry Henderson. We had 19 present with one visitor.
On Thursday, February 26, we watched a movie this afternoon and had refreshments. We had 25 present. We at Floy Dyer would like to express our sympathy to the family of Amorette Linton. She will be missed. We would like to welcome our new residents to Floy Dyer: Emma Miller, Evelyn Eaton, and Lorene Lucius. We hope they will be happy with us.
