Special to the Chickasaw Journal

On Friday, October 31, on Halloween Day the residents had a ball all day long. Ms. Esther Earnest brought her class out that morning and entertained us with games and we won lots of prizes. Mr. Ralph Pullen from Parkway Baptist Church came out for Bible Lessons, Nell Braswell and Frances Owens joined him. They are such a joy to see, always happy and full of laughs. We decorated pumpkin faces. Allied Health Class came out throughout the day with games and prizes. We had a wonderful day and hope you did the same.

Floy Dyer would like to take the time to thank this community for being so wonderful to this nursing home. Words cannot express how we feel about this community and my resident's families. I think you are one of the best. I praise you every time I go to a meeting out of town. Hats off to you. From the desk of Hope Tucker, "Oh, yes, how could I forget about our staff and our sweet sweet beautician, Myra Campbell."

On Saturday, November 1, we had our crochet class this morning. We always have a good time.

On Sunday, November 2, church services were conducted by Bro. Bobby Brock from Fellowship Baptist Church. Rhonda Eaton played the piano. We had 15 present.

On Monday, November 3, we played bingo with 27 present. Helpers were Thelma Allen, Glenda Scarbrough, Nellie Reynolds, Ruth Gann, Jo Ellen Free, and Judy Hill. Winners were Morris Wright, Mary Evans, Loudean Martin, Grace Moore, Dorothy Alford, and Catherine Reeves. We had a real good time. We enjoyed the good refreshments.

On Tuesday, November 4, church services were conducted by Bro. Bobby Brock from Fellowship Baptist Church. Piano player was Linda Funderberk. Song leaders were Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Allen. We had 23 present.
